Math
My math background primarily consists of applied mathematics, focusing on numerical analysis. While I have explored theoretical analysis and probability classes, I tend to like to be able to apply my mathematics to physical situations. Because of this tendency I always attempt to tie my papers into how the mathematics could be used in the real world.
Here are some math papers that I wrote during my time at MIT. Gerrymandering was written for the COMAP math modeling competition, while the rest of the papers were written for MIT's Mathematics Laboratory (also known as 18.821) during my Junior year (2006-2007). Please keep in mind while reading these papers that they were written for classes and have not been published (nor will they be).
